Baylee never seizes to amaze me! Last night he was just inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. It
recognizes students who not only excel academically but someone who shows great character, leadership, and citizenship. The students were nominated by a faculty advisory board based on these criteria.
As most of you know, Baylee skipped 1st grade which I think makes this award even more impressive. That he can excel as he does in every class being a year younger than most of his classmates makes me extremely proud to be his Mom.
Baylee does work somewhat hard to keep his grades up but I hate to say everything does seem to come easy for him. He grasps concepts fairly easy and has an enormous capacity for useless knowledge. I wouldn't consider him a ''nerdy kid" because he loves his sports and has a great group of friends.
I am very blessed to have such a talented child and thank God everyday for the blessings he has given me in having four very different boys.
