Colton has started his first season of Coach Pitch baseball. He is really enjoying it so far. Three of his best friends are on his team so that makes it even more fun.
His coach, Amy Anderson, does an awesome job with the boys (and girls). She lets them try every position which I think is very important at this age so the kids see what positions they like the most. Colton really is enjoying being the catcher which is what position his older brother Baylee plays.
He had his first hit last night which helped boost his ego because he was having a hard time connecting with the ball the first few games.
Coach Pitch is still hard to watch sometimes because for many of the kids it is their first experience with baseball. So many of them don't know all the rules and have a hard time staying focused.
We look forward to a fun year at the baseball fields!
